- Password-protected or encrypted PDFs aren’t supported — remove the password first
- Very large PDFs (100+ pages or large embedded images) may take longer to process on older devices
- Scanned PDFs (image-only, no real text layer) merge and split fine, but page content itself isn’t altered or improved
